What else were you reading? Dystopia/Utopia books are my favourite.

BTW the movie for The Road sucks, no movie could do the book justice.

Christopher Moore is hilarious. I've read a few of his books now and haven't been disappointed. Light funny absurd reading, good break from the more serious topics I usually read.

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo Series
Great mystery/crime fiction! It's quite different from most mysteries I find, it's quite heavy with the facts that it throws at you - but that's what makes it so realistic

Read the posthumous book by Michael Crichton. It wasn't nearly as good as his other books, and he probably never intended for it to be published.

RIP

Wait, what? He's dead? Where the hell have I been? That's sad to hear, though. I enjoyed most of his books.

Say You're One of Them.

I just went to chapters and picked it up awhile ago and found out later it was suggested by Oprah too. Consists of several short stories and I must say I shed a tear or two... =(

Reading the dragonlance series right now, 3 books make up the first series of it, currently on the 3rd book, the first reminds you very much of LOTR but it's been very enjoyable so far
