Question Regarding Driver Penalty Points Premium

This past weekend I received a letter from ICBC, considering I wasn't expecting anything I opened the letter only to find that I now owe a premium of $300 for a ticket I got in Oct 2009 (failure to display my N but charged with driving contrary to restriction) and one in mar 2010 for speeding (charged with failing to obey road signs or something along those lines... I was going 110 on the highway, nobody else was on the road).

I had no problem with paying for either of these tickets, as the reasons for being charged were offenses with which I did commit.

My only question now is... If I pay off my premium, then get another ticket, do the points continue to stack? The ICBC website states that points stay on your record for 5 years. So if I have per say 6 points now, get a 3 point ticket, my next premium will be at a rate of 9 points?

I really regret not attempting to contact the officer previously when I got my ticket for failure to display my N and awarded 3 points...

The letter does say that it takes the points from within 12 months of your birth date... but that it can also be used from previous dates...

Thanks for any insight.

No, the points don't continue to stack for penalty point premiums.
