Haha went skating the other day and I saw this guy with this girl that didn't know how to skate. If she doesn't know how to skate, take her to an indoor skating rink. If she wants to give it a try or w.e. Cause if you know how to skate, all she'll be doing is holding you and hanging on to you the whole time. Fall a couple times too so her clothes get a little wet then you can use the line "You can come over and we'll get you into something dry".

ice skating is always great

Castle fun park sounds good but , would 60 bucks be enough for a day there?
Ice skating is meh. I really hate anything to do with snow/ice

You should be able to easily stretch out $60 there... just stick to the minigolf and batting cages and such, and avoid the video games (except the really old ones that are a quarter a play).

Either that, or take her for a walk in the rain. Tell her to wear a white top.

*sigh* Sometimes, I miss dating...

Now the question I ask is "where to take my 2-yr old son on a rainy day?"

60 bucks should be good for the day at CFP, includiing meals. There's tons to do there.

You could find an indoor roller rink, you get the clinging with out the ice.

Castle fun park is always fun though, you should be fine on $60 even if you do play a few of the arcade games. Food's reasonably cheap and IIRC there's a deal if you buy your entry into both of the indoor mini golf courses together. Go do one, eat, game, go do another.

Soundy 10-08-2010 11:20 AM

You know, if she likes hockey, you could take her to a Giants game - Kamloops Blazers are in town tomorrow night. Gold tickets (side seats) are only $20; red seats (end zones) are $18. Some great action, lots of future NHL stars, and the Coliseum is a great venue, especially after all the upgrades done for the Olympics.

DiiCii 10-08-2010 02:55 PM

^ are you two together? or just hanging out for now? she's never been to your house before right? before my girlfriend and i started dating, we started hanging out with eachother a looot. she came to my house a lot on rainy days and my family really liked her. it's never too soon for your mom to meet your friends! afterall, you're just "friends" for now right? if your mom likes her, you'll know the next move :)
