Salmon from docks, ftw. Sapperton, Steveston, even Langley and Maple Ridge. I used to get fish from Indians. Just gotta know where and when. Know a few fisherman and watch the DFO website for openings on the river and when the test fishermen go out.

I'll try to let you guys know when that'll be. A freezer is a must. Plus, there are a few sport fishermen on RS.

We should have a salmon thread on RS. I mean, afterall we live in the best place on earth for salmon (still) and other seafood......... well, besides Campbell River.

For some reason, I've never been impressed when I go to Steveston. The fish is very pricey compared to local stores, and most things are frozen and not live. For example, for the same price, I'd much rather buy live spot prawns at TNT, than pay for "fresh" dead ones at the dock. The only thing that seems to be a good deal is the sea urchin...but it's way too much work IMO to prep it.

Vinegar in commercial volumes? I'm talking 50-100+ Litres. My mom's yard is fucking choked with weeds, and does an amazing job at killing them, but buying individual 2L bottles is just a ridiculous hassle.

If you can't find it in a 5gal bucket or something, iirc it's $2/4L at Dollarama.

I just picked up a 10L sprayer at PA for $12, just for spraying weeds.

Oh, I'm not talking the fisherman's market or whatever they call it at Steveston, where independents sell their fish. I know a few people who fish for the larger companies. Having worked at Ocean Fisheries, Cassiar, Canfisco, and BC Packers over the years helps.

Anyone know where to get cakes like the ones from the old Woodward's food floor? My dad's 50th birthday is coming up and I'd like to get something similar for him.

I've never seen, or tasted one before, but my dad talks a lot about the cakes from Woodward's. He remembers the frosting being super sugary and a little hard... not like a buttercream, or whipped cream. This frosting held the chocolate sprinkles around the sides of the cakes, which he says was awesome. He also remembers the flower decorations on top were made of pure sugar; pink and baby blue in colour and rock hard, but he still ate them he says. lol.

Anyway, I guess if anyone would know what he's talking about, it would be MG1...?

Foam, pads, whatever. It's for a small hall, so things like Dynamat would probably be too heavy/expensive.
What are your goals. Trying to stop vibrations or trying to stop sound from going outside the hall?

LOL I was in the same boat for a while but didn't want them bad enough to go hardcore searching for it. If I happened to be at a Mall I would walk in, see no small, then just leave.

I was however more interested in the one that comes in the same color but the matariel is like this more shinier material but don't know the name.

Good luck!

Anyone know where to find this tool. Brand is Tork, tried Lordco but no luck. Would prefer the instant transaction, rather then ordering online!

Cummins VE, P7100, VP44 and CP3 Injection Pump Gear Remover

Maybe KMS? I was browsing around in their "clearance tools" section in Coquitlam today, there's all kinds of weird speciality automotive tools in there that may or may not be listed on their website.
