Not sure, but if you go chinatown you should be able to find some for cheap. Few shops on Georgia St.

I've seen Chapters in richmond (next to save-on foods) had different sized globes last month.

I'm not sure if he really wants a 14 foot acrylic globe. Not sure if he wants a globe as in the geography kind or a see through globe, like a ball.

If it's 14 inch globe of the world, Staples should have them. I've even seen them at Chapters.

EDIT: Oops, someone beat me to it.

Anyone know where I can find a 1/4" female to 1/8" male stereo adapter for a reasonable price? DX has them for cheap but I would like one soon.

^Is 1/8 the same as 3.5 mm?

Conversion says 1/8 = 3.175.

RPElectronics has all kinds of adapters, but 1/4 inch to 1/8 inch, I don't know.

RP Electronics - Test Instruments , Power Supplies , Inverters , Electronic Project Kits and more!

BTW, they finally moved to their new location on Rupert Street and Grandview Highway, across from Superstore.

My bad, I meant 3.5mm instead of 1/8". And thanks for the info about RP. They have one for $2 which is far better than paying $8 at The Source

Plus, if you're BCIT electronics student you get discount - not 100% sure, but I recall students coming in and getting some sort of discount.

Probably just on certain things. I get a small discount there

For the lowest prices, Superstore or Costco. Costco should have it by now, in time for Christmas.
