In case you are still looking. Costco carries one - nice bentwood box with copper inlay.

Alternative to smoked salmon for those looking for BC products as gifts. Canned salmon. Asian people love this shit, especially number one export grade sockeye. Surprisingly, there's still some left at the Brighton Avenue Costco. Make sure the can has Canada stamped on the lid. If not, it is the Alaskan sockeye, which is not that great.

Number one, West Coast and Local (Johnstone Straight and Fraser River) sockeye is the best you can buy. For some strange reason, they have number one canned sockeye for sale at Costco. Can code on the lid should end with letter "D" on the second line.

EDIT: Hurricane......... the stuff pictured below is smoked pink salmon, not sockeye. At least it isn't that farmed Atlantic crap that tastes like dog poop.

10-20lbs of calcium chloride pellets.

Going to make some homemade dehumidifiers for several vehicles that won't be used this winter. I'm not sure if de-icer pellets are fine or if I should get some from a pool supply place or what. Trying to do this on the cheap.

Thanks

Hey guys, where do I find a good beret locally? For a female friend, she lost hers and I am thinking of getting her one for Christmas!

Looking for one of these. Can order them on-line, but prefer to get it locally.

It's for holding rolls of vinyl media. Wall mount type, not floor. thanks

Usually the ones at home depot the screw-on faceplates pop out separately from the latch and turns it into a drive-in latch (what you have) so you can friction-fit it into the hole.

I found one at Rona. They're called "drive-in" latches. The faceplate does pop out separately.

That's what I was thinking. I've seen them before and they are nothing special. Perhaps look a little harder. In fact, the plate that goes over the deadbolt/locking thing does not have to be installed. It is optional, IIRC.

If that's what OP is looking for..........

A legit working etch-n-sketch?

Not the OhioArt ones from toysrus, cause they do not erase too well. All the ones on the shelves are markered up.

I buy my locks at home depot for my rental units.

Defient locks = non locking latch, has the additional plate w/screws but you dont have to use them, just like your photo. $17-18.

Weiser and schlage locks all come with plate that is more recommend for usage. $24-35.

Mac Station or Simply Computing.

I have a Kensington laptop bag that has one of those simple bags included inside that can be used just for transporting the laptop.

They carry simple bags, too.

Anyone know someone they can recommend or where I can have chinese characters (brush calligraphy?) written up? Like what you would find in an asian home hung on the wall, for example.

Here's a reference pic:

Hoping for a recommendation from someone who has used one in the past. Must be within the Lower Mainland.

Thanks
