Just wondering how often you wax your boards?
Where did you go to buy all your maintenance gear? like the iron, the wax, the scraper and the edge tuner?

When it feels like its getting sticky... Every 4 or 5 days or so on the hill. It really depends how long you ride each day. I got my wax at vanski and all my maintenance stuff at dogfunk.com

Picked up a set of Rome 390 bindings yesterday Now trying to decide whether i shuld buy a new board to throw them onto lol. I ride a Battaleon The Hero right now, lookin for somethin with a lil more flex tho. I got a few buddies riding Lib Tech boards, and they all seem to like them. Any suggestions?

I'm 5'5 115 lbs should I get a 145 or 148 cm snowboard? I heard a smaller one is easier to control.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again.

look at the weight range of your potential snowboard, and ask yourself how you're going to be using it.

smaller is better, but it all depends on what you're using it for.

there is a LOT of variables when it comes to buying a new stick...but the majority of the time people buy based on the look, and how it makes you feel. It's an emotional buy regardless of how you look at it.

Yup.. this yr for example want to get a park board so I'll most likely be settling for a 151~154 even tho i weigh 160 lbs at 6 feet..

Judging from your size I'd go to a board shop and ask around.. if not, get like a 135~137 or something

i have an older gnu board... 2 years old? it has the skate banana. I like it but i find that its a bit soft now. The new lib tech and gnu boards have a new btx system, should fix it

nah, i wouldn't go THAT small.

I'd just find a softer flexing board that is in the 148-151 range.

Just in case anyone is interested in staying the night or two in Whistler....

My wife and i are liquidating our condo privelages for the year. Its in the ClockTower right in the middle of whistler village, so feel free to google it.

Nothing special, its a studio suite and a good place to crash for the night....better than paying 200+ for any of the whistler hotels.
