Paintball: Tippmann 98 Custom - What is this? 3 Attachment(s) What's this thing on the side? I'm a amateur in paintball lol. |
i believe that is the velocity adjuster. It increase/deceases the speed of the paintball that gets shot out. |
If you crank that and hit someone with a hot gun prepare for a beating son. Berz out. |

Oh, actually I wonder if that's where the response trigger goes. If you buy a response trigger, the hook up is around that area. If it really concerns you, just take it into a paintball store. Posted via RS Mobile |
*ahem* A5 FTW. Velocity is adjusted right under the "Tippmann 98 Custom" logo. That screw is for the cyclone feed, and is linked by a hose, which is supposed to push excess gas to the cyclone system, and rotates the paddles as the gun re-cocks. (not my picture) http://img241.imageshack.us/img241/3964/im000646jy8.jpg Did your 98 come with a cyclone feed? |

That's almost an antique! :P Did you do your research before you purchased? There are some really good deals to be had if you know where to look and what to look for. |
