So plesae, if you can't drive in snow. Does not mean i cannot. douche.

you are entirely correct. there are cars parked on my street that does not allow street parking and there are tons of pedestrians walking in the snow at 11:30PM on a friday evening. and yes, i am TOTALLY trying to sound cool with me and my civic

Weight in the back of any fwd car is worse than no weight at all because your heavy back end will lift your front end and you have no traction at all.

now for all you RWD BMWs and Lexus dudes some weight in the back is golden, just like the good old days. a 50lb sack of rice or anything around that much in your trunk will do wonders when you have a nice set of winter tires. I can't believe so many people don't know that. I remember as a kid. That's what people did when most cars were RWD. Personally I like using a couple weight lifting plates in the trunk so you still have a trunk. Driving in the snow when I had my S2K was not a problem.

same. my old 944 was fine in the snow without anything in the back..

rear mounted tranny, so 50/50 weight split.

then my old wagon was running dinky 175 width tires.. just ran ontop of the snow. haha. friggin awesome
