06+ 350Z headlights - DRL & swap?

I'm trying to find out what's involved in swapping '03 350Z HID headlights for the updated '06+ ones. I've read that it's a direct plug&play swap but I haven't been able to find info on what happens to the DRL.

What do the '06+ 350Z's use as a DRL?? Is it that tiny parking light bulb??

Has anyone done an '06 headlight upgrade successfully and what did you have to do with the DRL??

Thanks.

Yes it's direct plug and play, I've done a lot of custom work on G35 and 350z for all our local Nissan Infiniti club members. We have a guy "zjoe" over on http://www.niclub.ca/ that's selling the 06 projectors for roughly $1100 if you're interested.

I've painted his headlights and installed all his lighting and they look like this now, swapped some bulbs for him too so yea working first hand with them I'm pretty sure DRL is retained meaning when you turn the car on the city lights come on, the city lights are the top ones right above the main projector.

Awesome, thanks for the info. I assumed there'd be some wiring involved to split the DRL wires from the high beam since on the pre-'06, they'd both lead to the high beam bulb.
