Hot pot question Where do I get the fish puffs they make at hotpot restaurants? I checked t&t but all I can find is tofu puff. Anyone? |
the come frozen, i have seen them there many times |
I'm pretty sure osaka has them, you can buy them bulk it's near where all the chicken wings/fish/etc. are I also doubt that T&T doesn't have them Otherwise try golden summit it is across from richmond public market on westminister highway |
Thanks |
try super market 3000 in richmond, in that plaza next to richmond sushi |
its at tnt frozen section for sure. thats where i get it from. |
There are two kinds. The ones that looks like a fish, or a cube. These are served in AYCE hot pots. They are not that great. The other ones are fish PUFFs. They are like tofu puffs, but fish paste is in it and the middle is empty. You can only get these in selected hot pot places. E.g. Garden city hot pot. (topgun richmond) As for myself, i have never seen them in an asian grocery store... Maybe there's a wholesale supplier for it. Ask the hot pot place ppl? Posted via RS Mobile |
you dont need any of that! you need lobster and crab :troll::haha: |
TRDood has the right idea.. That's what I'm looking for of anyone knows where to get them Thanks again Posted via RS Mobile |
