I had a GReddy one that covered the reg sticker, didn't get pulled or anything.
Now I have a HKS one that doesn't cover the sticker.

Given, I did have the GReddy one for about 5 months with no problems. Even when I was being tailed by cops (prob running my plates)

my ClubRSX one blocked the back, so I moved it to the front

people also move their stickers around depending what plate you have. ine's custom, so it can be a lil higher etc

I just move the insurance expiry date sticker higher up closer to where the BC flag is on the plate.

Works fine so far, haven't got any hassle from cops.

Had this problem with my Fatlace frames.

Heatgun/Blowdyer.
Razor.

Just don't block the BC flag in the middle center.
