New Years Day buffet brunch?

Every year, my family goes out for buffet brunch on New Years day. Last couple of years we've gone to Pan Pacific at Canada Place. I would like to try somewhere new this year, any suggestions? We've been to Sutton Place and Heron's restaurant already. Thanks in advance!

I used to be a HUGE fan of Fairmont Vancouver's brunch... until I tried Fairmont Waterfront's! Not cheap, but an excellent brunch.

Is that the one across from Canada Place? If so, that's Heron's. I've been there already. Was very good a few years ago, went a few weeks ago to their Sunday brunch and the selection is a lot smaller than it used to be

I think he meant the one inside of Hotel Vancouver, or what used to be Hotel Vancouver/Georgia. The selection is MUCH better at Griffin than at Herons. I was VERY disappointed at the minimal selection for Herons, to be honest.

Actually, I meant Heron's. I havent been since June but I was very happy with it in June... as I mentioned, I've been a long time fan of Griffin @ Hotel Vancouver. I'm sad to hear it's going downhill, they had lots of excellent seafood when I was there last time.

Thanks for all the suggestions guys, don't want to leave it too late so I'm just going to book our family for Pan Pacific again this year. Will start looking into this earlier next year, lol.
