My gf (wife now) made me 365x mini roses, where x is the number of years we had been going out for. Can't remember how many years it was at that time, LOL. So I still have the 365+ mini roses. She was running into crunch time and was making 'em during lectures at UBC!

tiger_handheld 01-18-2011 10:14 AM

like the NY Yankees/ Toronto Maple Leafs/ Miami Heat/ i dont follow NFL:
Over-rated and Over-priced!

Anyone wanna start up a roses business asap? count me in as an investor.

I don't get it.
So if you were going out for 5 years she made you 3,655 roses? or 365 x 5 = 1825 roses?

either way, that is a shit load of roses.

or was it 365 + 5 roses?

Think he means 365+5...
I hope...

Otherwise, poor girl. So much work... not even practical.

Probably could have just got him a box of LEGO instead. :fullofwin:

FFFFFFFF I hate Valentines Day.
Put your ideas here, I need help since this year we can't go out. She will be stuck at home resting after a surgery.

!Yaminashi 01-18-2011 02:40 PM

^if she's resting just pamper her. Guaranteed she'll appreciate that much more than buying her stuff

Nvasion 01-18-2011 03:06 PM

yay for not celebrating valentines day with my GF!:)

PJ 01-18-2011 03:09 PM

GF and I were never too crazy on Valentines. I mean we do the rose and dinner, but nothing too special.

winson604 01-18-2011 04:57 PM

Not much going on here either just dinner and maybe something small. This is also considering the fact that our Yearly anniversary and her Birthday is in February so we got enough shiet to celebrate haha.

PJ 01-18-2011 05:51 PM

^Haha same here.
Christmas a few weeks ago, her birthday in Jan, anniversary in Jan, then Valentines in Feb. My wallet's gonna be feeling a little light.

I know how you feel...
Bday, anniversay, christmas, all in December... :fuuuuu:

ForbiddenX 01-19-2011 07:35 AM

Bday, christmas, anniversary all happen 1 week after each other in december lol.

Didn't do anything that special for this anniversary so might take her out and get her a necklace she's been asking for for a while now.

So.... Is a necklace and a nice dinner a decent idea?

Greenstoner 01-19-2011 08:47 AM

take her to seattle on a day trip and let her to pick a gift

use border limit as an excuse so my wallet wont bleed
