Take it to Danier and see what they say. I know it's not as big of a job as yours, but they hemmed the sleeves on my jacket perfectly.

hmm I would definitely drop by oakridge tailors and ask for a quote. It's a family owned business with excellent attitude towards customers and they don't rush through their jobs (usually a week minimum before you can pick up). I recently had my suit tailored there for a reasonable price. And before they did my suit they even suggested i go to other stores to make sure i can buy a suit that I didn't need to spend money for tailoring at the risk of losing my business. So you can see the commitment they have towards satisfying their customers.
