As an omnivore myself, I never personally thought about it nor ever cared.

I would think it's safe to assume that it is most likely a cheese substitute (yuck now that I think about it) as the premise behind the restaurant is to cater to the hipster-nouveau proletariat of the area.

My favourite used to be the Sammy J Pepper's Nachos with their blackened chicken on top.

I don't know why, but they took it off the Menu, but apparently you could still ask for it.

im pretty sure its real cheese because afaik its not a vegan restaurant. they serve sour cream with the nachos as well iirc

+1 for foggy dew's nachos...go early watch a nucks game and eat some nachos and drink beer with some buds

and i had some killer nachos once at this place called "the kings head pub" near kits beach

i have yet to see sour cream that's not from a box and usually the salsa is store bought in a jar type.

it's usually mexican restaurant where u get fresh salsa.

The nachos at sharks club are pretty good. Nice big portions and good fixin's. COuld use better guac though...
