Places to take a date in Richmond?

Hey everyone, can anyone give me some places to go to for a "romantic" place with my date? I know there's not a lot in Richmond, but naming any on the top of your head would be appreciated. Thanks a lot!

Steveston?

Check out Gudrun if you like cheese and wine. (I went there last Saturday and used a Groupon, it was good)

Any of the resturant by the fisherman's wharf are all quite "romantic"
Charthouse, sockeye City, shady island are all decent seafood resturant places. Food is average, but view/mood is nice.

I don't know your budget/timing constraints but there is a restaurant located inside the new Westin (or was it Sheraton?) off Bridgeport and No. 3 Rd. The chef there has a few amazing dishes and has earned its reputation as a hidden gem.

Edit: It's called The Apron. The chef is the renowned Hamid Salimian who cooked at Diva @ The Met and The Westin Bear Mountain Resort in Victoria. I believe The Apron is also on the Dine Out Vancouver list.

The Apron's Facebook page. Hope that helps!

^There's a menu on their website that he posted.

I also like the set dinner menus at Hakkasan. Unfortunately, their location is not very romantic though, lol

Just check out their menu. For example...dinner would be this: http://www.starwoodhotels.com/pub/me...inner_Menu.pdf
Their pricing aren't that bad for a fine dining experience.

They also have 5 courses meal ($50), 7 courses meal ($70), and 9 courses meal ($90.)
If the $50 one is in your budget, it should be able to impress your date

if you want a romantic meal, theres a small greek restaurant right beside the steveston pizza joint on moncton close to the buck and ear, cant remember the name but the food was decent, decor was warm and the owners very accomodating.

Sorry, I didn't get a chance to go. I called with the intention of reserving a table for 2 to have dinner. Unfortunately they were packed and could not accomodate since today was the last Dine Out night.

I'll try again later on this week or next week.
