Any reputable chinese restaurants in Richmond that takes card

As the title says, I often have work on Friday nights during the time right before dinner, I always grab dinner to work and I don't normally carry cash on me. Therefore I normally have to think for a good 20 mins for a place to grab dinner and I have yet to discover a good Chinese style restaurant that takes card (debit or visa)
TIA

#9 has an ATM inside ;o
can't think of any casual Chinese restaurants that take plastic though...

According to their sign @ the door, it says its closed until the 18th for "renovation".... but I think they are opening under a different name. So whether they are under a new management, or just trying hard to gain new customers....only time will tell.

cho 02-10-2011 11:33 PM

shit, no idea you guys went so much lemme ask him if i can get a discount password or osmething haha

i like hakkasan. food is good and service is excellent.
but if i have to give a little constructive criticism, they rely too heavily on exotic ingredients. foie gras, lobster, shark fin, kobe beef, abalone, birds nest, etc...
and often all together on the same tasting menu. if you look at some other restaurants in that price range, they make non-expensive ingredients into very special dishes. just my 2c

Liquid_o2 02-11-2011 11:28 AM

Hakkasan's hot and sour prawn soup is to die for. And the kobe beef wow! I do agree that the menu does rely a bit too much on expensive/rare ingredients though.

An RS discount sure would make me visit more often :fullofwin:

Only casual chinese restaurants I know that take card are Tsui Hang, Chongqing & Hon's. They're all downtown and those are the only ones I remember, well cause they deliver...lol.

Using card for food, especially in richmond is a great way to get your card duplicated and scammed.
