tapering raw denim

fellow comrades,

just copped a pair of N&F weird guys. I'm looking to get the calves tapered and was wondering if anyone had some good previous experiences with tailors that do good work on raw denim? a low price would be a bonus, but my primary concern by far is the quality of the work done. thanks in advance!

a good tailor isn't cheap. remember that.

by the way, when you use the term "copped" it is typically in reference to drugs or theft, or some kind of illegal transaction. i know it sounds way cooler than "my mom bought me...." but, NOW YOU KNOW.

lol really? me and my buddies use it synonymously with bought, or purchased... never thought it had an illicit connotation attached to it. anyways, i called up a friend who rocks a bunch of hipster-wear, says all the best raw denim tapers work downtown.

a great place for tapering raw denim is

Albert's Tailor Alterations
712 Robson Street #1
Vancouver, BC V6Z 1A2
(604) 683-2890

I don't trust many places to know how to taper your jeans where they don't destroy the selvedge line. But I brought my Samurai's in there and the guy knows exactly what I want. Apparently Dutil sends their stuff there too.
