Masturbation and defective sperms?

Out of curiosity, would masturbating too much have side-effect on your testicle, and therefore affecting your off spring?

A healthy organ/cell in the body not only produces cell, but also filters and destroys the bad one. But the ability to filter out bad cells decrease as the body ages, or as the organ/cell is overworked.

If the testicle is always under stress to produce more sperm (because of masturbating too often), would it age (the testicle) prematurely, and hence, affect the testicle's ability to filter/destroy defective sperm?

edit: I actually don't have an answer, and I could be wrong about how the testicle work

I sure hope not...

murd0c 02-15-2011 09:19 PM

in a way yes but only for a day or two until your body replenishes the reserve stock. It's nothing you have to worry about it's only natural :D

Berzerker 02-15-2011 09:21 PM

I would have to say OP was made with one of those defective sperm...

I think having fresh swimmers on tap would be better than having month old ones. Sperm count is the only thing that is affected by masterbation.

Berz out.

guddagudd 02-15-2011 09:25 PM

I don't think the testicle is under "stress", when it is worked like that. Euphoria might be the word you're looking... :troll:

v.Rossi 02-15-2011 09:41 PM

The only time there defective is when they don't get swallowed.

I believe unused sperm get reabsorbed into the body...

Fitting username, btw!

civic_rice 02-16-2011 10:39 AM

The op is the "load that should have been swallowed"

gdoh 02-16-2011 10:42 AM

i think OP is doing it wrong

Ferdi 02-16-2011 11:45 AM

OP shoots blank

Ferra 02-16-2011 12:55 PM

how often is too often??... I think sperm only lives in your body for a few days anyway...but I am sure it would affect your sperm count if you masturbate like 3 times a day since you ball can't replenish them fast enough

don't know about quality tho

InvisibleSoul 02-16-2011 12:58 PM

If there was any risk involved, it would be widely known and disseminated (no pun intended - LoL) by professionals like doctors.

No such warnings means no such risk.

v.Rossi 02-16-2011 05:37 PM

Just make sure to switch hands every now and again mmm'kay

in short NO.
every tissue in your body dies and needs to be replaced.
skin, hair, nails, rbc, organelles, etc.

simple histology. cell grows, cell dies, cell is replaced.
Your body is under constant stress.

If your body ever reached true homeostasis (stress free environment) it would die

Besides, sperm only lasts about a week and get reabsorbed and reproduced again.

BallPeenHammer2 02-18-2011 10:36 PM

If that were to be the case, then 90% of ppl on RS that browse the NSFW porn sections would be already impotent.

Thanks for the serious answer. I guess if what I said was true, those who donate blood a lot would be prone to leukemias since their bone marrow is always under stress to produce new blood cells.

However, on the other hand, athletes body do age a lot more quicker than most people because their bodies are always under extreme stress. So their bodies break down a lot earlier than most people.

v.Rossi 02-19-2011 07:56 PM

^ are you saying people who work out regularly are going to break down quicker than people who don't work out? take a minute and think about what you just said.

huh? if you keep exercising you're body adapts yes, but in a good way, allowing you to live your physical life better since you are already used to stress on your body during the early parts of life from exercising. Then when old age comes, stress on the body doesnt become unfamiliar.

Notice I said athletes, not normal people. Athletes as in like NBA players. If you've noticed, by the time they retire, a lot of NBA players have knee problems due to wear and tear. A quick search showed that a lot of NBA player suffers from Patellofemoral inflammation due to overuse of the knees.

Though it is far fetched to compare the intense amount of stress professional athletes face to the amount (or any at all) of stress from jerking off daily.

Actually athletes do not age quicker. They are only more prone to mechanical injuries (due to frequency). Because their bodies are constantly under stress from high level activities which can lead to more injuries, wear and tear problems, etc.

General exercise on a whole has be shown to decrease morbidity, increase psychological response, improve emotional state, and help counter act the physical effects of aging.

You should notice that older individuals who work out and get exercise regularly will look younger, healthier, and feel better.
It has been quoted on a number of occasions that the closet thing to the fountain of youth is exercise.

But, I know what you're getting at OP
