hmmm i don't remember if ive seen thenm carry it separately in shops around vancouver... roller hockey gear is harder to come by in canada lol.. more selection in the states thats for sure.. try online.. or sports exchange... ice level sprots in richmond usually carries a decent amount of roller stuff so they may have it.... make sure you get the right bearings.. theres regular standard bearings and micobearings.

Hey guyz, I just want to confirm my list of required equiptment is correct:
Blades(obviously)
Gloves
Shin pads
Helmet

Do I have to wear my hockey pants? or can I wear like athletic track pants?
Are visors required?
thanks.

Elbow pads are needed. I don't think you need hockey pants, as some people don't even wear girdles either. Visors aren't required, but you need a mouth guard if you don't have a full cage otherwise you won't be covered for dental insurance should anything happen.

Wear a jock? lol you didn't list it

Thanks
Jock slows me down srzly

Are elbow pads actually required to play? or you're just recommending them?

What's an alternative to hockey pants/girdle?

And do many people wear cages?
Sorry for all the questions, I don't wanna show up and be laughed at lol

Yeah elbows are. If they do check and you don't have any it's 2 minutes.

I personally would say wear a girdle. The puck may be lighter than an ice puck but it'll still hurt, plus crashing the boards with a girdle eases the pain a bit.

I wear a cage. It's all personal preference, but the majority wear a visor

get the rbk 5k girdle. Its lightweight. That's what I'm using.

If you're looking for soft elbow pads that won't restrict your movement, I would suggest these ones. I'm using them and love em. I hate the hard ones.

dude... if you think a jock will slow you down, you might as well wear nothing as all equipment will slow you down.. for roller I don't wear a girdle anymore, but I still have a good jock on. track pants will do but that is super ghetto... wearing track pants/sweats for roller is just as bad as wearing roller pants for ice hockey..

Thanks guys. I put a troll face beside the jock slowing me down part lol. I finally figured out everyone was wearing inline hockey pants, I thought they were just track pants though lol I'll pick some of those up instead of wearing track pants.

anyone know where to get the oldschool sherwood shoulder pads. im talking about the super thin ones. i dont want to wear the bulky ones as they suck for roller hockey and dont want to go another season with no shoulder pads lol
