anyone works at a auto repair shop that can help me out

So this is my problem, I bought a used car last year and got one of the after- market extended warranty. Now my transmission seems to be screwy, so I dig up my agreement for the extended warranty and I am reading the terms and conditions on the back...Now I realize that when I bought the car I should've done a oil change and fluid/filter check within 1000km of the date of purchase.

I didn't do this I waited 3 mths to change the oil and now I am afraid that if they ask for documentation I am screwed.

So anyone know any repair shops that can produce me a "reciept" stating I did all the fluid changes and such. I would be glad to pay for the oil change if I can be provided with something like this

Damn..always read the fine print.

probably easier to get a receipt for oil and filter parts from an auto parts store.... as long as you have proof that you bought oil and filter, you can say you did the oil change yourself.

tell them to show you a link between dirty oil and a messed up transmission

call them on their BS

tell them to go screw themselves if they deny you coverage and go to the BBB

extended warranties are usually useless...most have a deductible + user fee you have to pay rendering them pretty much useless

Ya, those extended things are a joke. You just gotta accept the fact that if you have a modded car, everything you put into it is a sunk cost and you have no hope of getting that cost back from icbc in an accident.

LOL!

You're asking a licenced business to commit fraud. Good luck with that one.

I was suckered into one of those extended warranty things once a very long time ago. They usually have stupid large deductibles as well and don't cover any electrical issues and if the mechanical problem your having can be attributed to an underlying electrical issue your screwed.
Secondly when you go in to get it fixed its treated by the mechanic as an estimate first then the warranty provider has to approve the work if they don't on a basis of not meeting the requirements then your still stuck with a broken car and stuck footing the bill for whatever the mechanic has done so far to reach his assessment.

Well the deductible is a hundred bucks, and they will cover up to $3000 for approved repairs.
My transmission seems to be screwed not reversing sometimes.
Ya it is my fault for not reading the terms, so I know if they say no than they say no. There is nothing I can do.
I am not asking for just a receipt. I am willing to pay for the services just asking for them to backdate the receipt.

I like how there's evidence of fraud on RS already... and RS complies fully with authority...
