car making some weird noises

Sup everyone. Got some weird noises coming from my EG. It's a 92 civic cx with manual transmission. Basically i noticed this noise a little while ago. it started off as only happening when my car was still cold but being slowly driven. now it happens when i down shift or cruise to a stop (without brakes applied). usually this noise starts when im at about 20km/h and sometimes when im at around 60 km/h. on the highway i never hear it and i do not hear it sitting still with the engine running in either warm or cold engine. not completely sure how to describe the sound. kind of sounds like a goose.lol. im thinking it sounds like rubber rubbing against metal. handling on the car has not changed as far as i can tell.

i just want to diagnose and fix before it turns out to be something more serious. i have also attached a link to youtube where i recorded the sound. you can hear it best around 20secs in and about 1min 50 in and about 3mins as well. let me know of any opinions. any thoughts will be greatly appreciated.

Those noises deep within your civic lol sound like a rotational noise IE a tire or a brake rotor. There are other components to your car that can make noises based on acceleration or deceleration like bearings and cv shafts but to properly diagnose it a better listen, possibly test drive are in order. Even a damaged motor/trans mount can cause interference between moving/rotating parts to make such noises.
There are many sponsors on this forum (us included) that could diagnose it. Find one close to you unless your up for a drive and have it checked out before it gets worst and possibly more expensive.

so yesterday went and got my car checked out at Sullivan Motors. the owner Al is a really good guy to work with. we went on a test drive and he gave me an estimate on what i need done. turns out my EG has got some pretty big issues. according to him i was a couple highway drives away from blowing both my front tires! so anyways i want some extra advice as to what steps i should take next. here's what sullivan motors diagnosed:

left front wheel making noise
check noise-put steering wheel straight tires toed out. needs alignmnt. inside edge of tires down to steel threads. needs 2 tires. LF wheel bearing has extreme play, need replace. RF upper ball JNT CTRL ARM ASSY flopping around needs replace.

total parts: $224.98
total labour: $264.86
total w/tax: $563.45

basically i was thinking of doing most of the labour myself. some of it i will need to be done at a shop like alignment and all that. would this be a good time to upgrade my suspension? i already have lowering springs. is there anything else i can do? as far parts i was told to get new parts so it would last...is it possible to get cheaper parts somewhere?maybe aftermarket or something? as well would the 94-01 teggy parts be any cheaper than EG parts? any opinions would be awesome.thanks.
