over $3K back...thaks to minimal rrsp contributions, home owners rebate ($750 i didn't even know about) etc

i used turbo tax ($26 with coupon for the middle range one)

will have to look into ufile ect for next year but i like how turbotax has my info from last year and carries it over

also did direct deposite for the first time so i'll see how long it takes to get to my account

Damn. What business were you running?

I am still waiting on my Income Tax Receipt from BC Student Loans I paid off this year. I already got my National receipt two weeks ago. Called and emailed March 2nd. Got an email back saying March 2nd they received the request and are mailing it out. Could take 5-10 business days. Ack. Just a heads up you may have to request it.

anybody remember the CRA ad on tv lately regarding saving on first time home buyer, tadesman tools rebate..etc.

what was the website ??

first time home buyer is the $750 i mentioned above....had no clue about it until Turbo Tax asked me

for the $26, it asks alot of stuff you might not think about and miss getting deductions for

i didnt even notice there was a similar thread...

i used studiotax...free to use and then netfiled, it can also carryover your past years return info and will prompt you for any extra deductions you may qualify before you netfile

Yes, that's one kid. It is a little cheaper at some places when their out of diapers but not where we go. Next year he'll be in kindergarten fulltime so for morning/after school care it will drop to $450 a month.

My wife wonders why I don't want to have another.........
