If Japan "deserved" the earthquake/tsunami for what they did to Pearl Harbour, what's in store for Canada for unleashing Celine Dion to the world?

The men who found the dog were not aware of the second dog at first. When they saw the second dog, they weren't sure if it was alive. When they saw it move, one of them immediatley said we need to get help. There was no hesitation on their part.

Even just now, Global News aired the clip and said we do not know what happened to the dogs. News Flash!!!! those dogs are safe and being cared for. People of Japan are not like North Americans. You don't see people looting. You don't see them knocking each other over to get food, water, or gas. The men who found the dogs were part of a news crew. They acted appropriately and with compassion.

People should not jump to conclusions. I can understand a bit of Japanese. One of them said I cannot bear to watch this. It's alive, quick get help....... this is wonderful......... etc.

I'm not sure if this is any comfort, but I believe this incident has had a big positive effect on everybody. Seeing all that devastation, destruction, and suffering and then seeing the way the people of Japan are handling it, and the way other countries have come together in support -- it gives me hope in humanity.

I hope the people of the world see the good in all this and take lessons from the ordeal.

I agree 100% I have gained so much respect for the Japanese people from their action's of how they have been dealing with everything. Very calm no rioting and of course the honor and respect they are known for.

There's a fresh fire at the 4th reactor again, PressTV reported that if a bigger disaster of meltdown happens, it could turn in a matter of hours (which would take some days to travel here).

Im wondering now if this were to happen, would driving north or down to California for a few weeks better ones chances of reducing radiation exposure or will the particles just land here and last for billions of years anyway?

Wouldnt the air currents follow you that way, I guess it would dissipate over the distance... but I think the large stream of current goes through Vancouver to Seattle... there's a map online showing the path the balloon bombs took when the Japaneses sent them to America wwii time, going south shouldnt have as strong amount of radiation I would think.

edit
Okay going east seems like the best option
