Anyone know the return policy for xFuel? I just called them, but they weren't too clear whether they only gave exchanges or a full refund.

Just went to Popeye's at Richmond today got myself a tub of weight gainer, and some caesin protein. I honestly don't like chocolate too much but damn. The Quik Mass chocolate is very delicious, reminds me of hot chocolate... gonna try it with some milk to see what happens . The fellas working at the Popeye's were very helpful! I recommend going there for your supplement needs. Plus they are having a sale right now. Ten bucks off your purchase!

It's basically a prepaid credit card. You load up a desired amount at Vancity, with an additional $2 loading fee. You then activate it on mybalance.ca, and you can upload the card on Paypal, or order anything online. When it's used up, you have to make a new one.

I'm looking to start making my own shakes. Has anyone ever tried this: True Protein | High Quality Nutrition and Protein Supplements ? That site has a bunch of different whey protein (cold-filtration, micro-filtrated). Makes no sense to me.

edit: i just realized that's concentrate. AFAIK, isolate is better.

I just started taking Phosphatydilserine. When doing research on choline and other 'brain stuff', I always thought it was "the version of choline that actually is useful". But back then it was derived from cow brain, and now they use soy lecithin, so I dunno. We'll see I guess. Anyone else try it?

IMO, all protein is the same, just choose a a protein from a reliable brand such as Optimum Nutrition. I personally think it just depends on when you're taking it. I take whey (isolate) for post-workout and morning, and a sustained release for bedtime/any time of the day.

If you took whey before bed, the protein has already been absorbed within an hour of consuming. I recommend grabbing a protein with casein in it (which takes 6-8 hours to fully digest). Or you can drink milk and eat cottage cheese.

I'd recommend Isoflex for post workout. its an isolate so it'll absorb quickly, but its a bit pricey, but i think its worth it cause it taste good too. try ordering from bodybuilding.com, its cheaper than popeyes.
