WhiTe G35 with BLACK WORK WHEELS HELLA VIP STYLE
 

You guys have probably seen it, wheels are all black wide as hell poking past the fenders an inch or two, i love the VIP look but i truely think this looks pretty silly looking.

ah, just finished watching the mechanic bout go to bed but clicked new posts one last time and found this....

the guy is dissing my ride i would take offense, but agree with him 100% lol, it does look too extreme for even my taste from the rear because of the way the oem bumper is, it curves in too much towards the license plate.... i am thinking about swapping to an aftermarket rear to remedy that curve of the oem bumper...
you definitely must have been driving behind me cuz you missed the flashy DPE sticker on my quarter panel window, they're not Works.... i would encourage you to pass me next time and check it out from your mirrors, cuz every other angle not too toot my own horn, is pretty bawse

this is the rear bumper i'm thinking of swapping too to cover more tire, my tires would be covered basically the same as in this pic below and it wouldnt look as extreme, you can see how much straighter the curve going down is

No i don't drive a civic. I use to own an ITR pwrd one 6 yrs ago. Where do you pull such an assumption from? I like his car but its a tad past the clean supreme look. Its pretty G though, guess hence homeboys name haha.

For most ppl who don't really care about cars I can see that they would judge having extreme stance looks funny/waste of time/monster truck/etc. But for car enthusiasts, it shows effort and dedication to make things fit.

Same apply to all the car wrapping debates.

to be honest i kinda agree with birchum. g-spec, DO NOT GET ME WRONG, i know how much time you put into your fitment, but like you said, the way the bumper curves makes the wheels look like they're poking too far out

and i definitely do not think it's fair to start hating on birchum. he didn't make some lame ass post like "lol dude's car is gay, so gay". he simply posted it was his opinion that the fitment looked silly. everybodys entitled to their own opinion

but aside from the above, i love every damn thing about your car. the bumper you posted makes it "flow" better and would make the accentuate the fitment a whole lot better then your stock one. i love how the stance looks from the side, but it looks a bit..off from the rear

thanks guys, but yea no he's right, it looks a bit too much from the rear that's the first thing i noticed and it's the only thing that bugs me about the whole setup. Actually that part where the rear quarter panel meets the rear bumper is the only place where my tires rub and make contact when i go over large dips, most 350z and g35 guys shave the tabs down with a dremel.

But you look at it from the front though looks perfectly normal, well normal when it comes to that hellaflush look, not as extreme when it comes to VIP style, I went for the middle somewhere, not hellaflush where the wheels and fender are exactly lined up but i didnt go hella poke crazy slammage VIP style either where the wheel pokes out far past the fender with massive camber.

and then here's a frontal picture of my setup, as you can see very mild compared to true VIP, which is just how I wanted it... actually this picture makes it look even a bit worse than it really is, it's a bit fisheye lens'ish, lol
