Oracal vinyl wrap - any local suppliers?

I know there are a million vinyl wrap threads, yet I searched specifically for Oracal and didn't find much, most prefer the 3M wrap. Oracal wrap has gotten much better reviews lately and is far cheaper than the 3M stuff.

For those who will say "you get what you pay for", stuff it. I've read the reviews and this stuff sounds great and for the cost difference I'm willing to try it out.

Does anyone know a local supplier that has it? Specifically the CF wrap?

Contact SR Auto

They will be more than happy to accommodated your needs. They
will make a special order of the Oracal just for you, if needed.

Door sills to start. They cracked so I want to glue them back together then wrap them. If I paint them I fear it will chip/scratch too easy.

After that I want to take a shot at wrapping my hood. Its a fiberglass vent molded onto a metal hood, so the seam cracks over time. I can patch the seam with fiberglass and wrap myself rather than paying a shop to paint it. If it cracks again, its cheaper to repair then rewrap than repaint.

Like I said: stuff it.

I've read the reviews, I'm aware of the differences. Most of the problems are with the installer, not the wrap - thus why I want to practice on my door sills first.

Just giving you an idea it was the same installer for both vinyl as well

Then he scammed your friend into paying more. I have a friend who is an installer in Ottawa and has done many under hood components which still look flawless, there's no reason why a roof shouldn't be easier.

Yet all that is beside the point. I know what I'm getting into, I just want to find it. Either help me find it, or stuff it.

If you're serious, pm me.
I bought a roll and some of Oracal + carbon fiber vinyl (in 3M) to wrap my car
I'm almost done, I'm finishing it off so it's ready for the spring meet, here's what it looks like so far
the material I find is pretty good stuff, you're right about the installer and not the material itself
once you work with the material for at least a few hours to start (I'm running on 50 hours on my whole car and counting) then you'll know how it behaves and reacts

Thanks, but no thanks. I'm not fond of the matte look.
