UBC Courses

Hey guys, I'm trying to get into a course at UBC for the summer session but it's currently full. Any of you know of tips / tricks to get into a course that's full other than blindly coming back to the site every hour?

Thanks!

One of my friends actually just told me about this site http://www.myubccourses.com that allows people to add courses and get notified when they open up... exactly what I needed!

I would just go to the class you want on the first day. After the lecture, walk up to the prof and tell him/her that you are really interested in the course but the course is full. If there is an extra chair in the room, the prof will usually grant it. But for this method, you need a department form which the prof will sign to validate his/her approval. You bring it to the respective department and voila, you're in!
