1992 Nissan Maxima GXE
Grandpa's old car. It drove beautifully and the sunroof made summers great, but gas and maintenance ended up costing more than I'm paying for my new car. I liked the car, but couldn't love it and I knew it was a matter of time until something expensive broke down.
I remember being a little kid and going to the dealership with my Grandpa to buy this car brand new. He gave it to me in 2007 when he the doctor said he couldn't drive anymore. This car held some sort of sentimental value for me since I grew up with it and my grand father passed away after giving it to me.
I felt kind of bad trading her in to the slimy stealership salesmen, but they gave me a good price and it just cost more and more money to maintain and gas every month. I was spending $60 every 5 days when I lived in Burnaby and worked in Vancouver, that is expensive compared to the $30 every 7 days I pay now.
Good memories, but now I'm happy with my new Suzuki. Manual transmission is much more fun than an auto.

1st) 1993 Suzuki Swift - Given to me by a family friend who left for retirement in Thailand..
Was a great car.. Cheap on gas, you could redline all the gears and still not hit 110km/h.
Very low maintenance and was a blast as a first car. Ended up selling it to a drug dealer. But I still see it on the road once in awhile..
2nd) 2009 Toyota Corolla CE. Purchase by myself and still paying off on my last year of payment.. Purchased this car because it was a good deal with 3 year 0% financing plus i wasnt looking for a power house vehicle as my first purchased car.. Still low maintenance and is a blast to drive ever since I got my TRD lowering springs and FSB and RSB.

First car was an 8th gen civic. That car never let me down. Didn't really excite me that much either but it was an excellent first car.
