Agreed.

I don't mean to sound harsh, but given the kids complete lack of concern over the consequences of his actions it sounds inevitable and not injuring anyone else is the best that can be hoped for.

why wasn't your car towed away immediately?

no its not valid anymore. same thing happened to me. distpued it and didnt even have to go court. just mailed me a letter saying that i won.
