heavy lifting & back pain

what are some solutions?
lifted some luggage today and back/side hurts right now.

edit: the title seems very misleading given the FITNESS forum, but i didn't know where else to put it.

Lift with your legs, not with your back...Use proper technique for lifting.

yes. ALWAYS, ALWAYS bend your KNEEES!!!

then up with your knees. not your back.

i did some dead lifts and did one wrong lift, man still hurts been 6 months?

goto chiropractor, if it happend within 48hours. ICE it.
after 48hrs use heat.

please correct me if im wrong hehehee

Use heat after if it is still sore. Try not to sit as much since that will ad more compression load to your low back. Do not attempt to stretch it out by touching your toes. It may give you some short term symptom relief but that does not solve the overall problem. your main goal is to let the body heal the low back by itself. Don't do any stupid shit in the mean time.
