If you want it's probably safer to just go to a doctor to flush it out, I want to get my ear candled too, I heard it feels amazing lol

Done it like 10 years ago in Asia. It's pretty cool, you dont feel anything, just hear noise. I tried experiments on it and each person had different things in their candle, and our ears seemed clean afterwards. lol

There was a thread about a month ago on the topic.

"Ear candling also should be avoided. Ear candling is a practice in which a hollow candle is inserted into the external auditory canal and lit, with the patient lying on the opposite ear. In theory, the combination of heat and suction is supposed to remove earwax. However, in one trial, ear candles neither created suction nor removed wax and actually led to occlusion with candle wax in persons who previously had clean ear canals. Primary care physicians may see complications from ear candling including candle wax occlusion, local burns, and tympanic membrane perforation."

Just go to your doctor and get referred to an ENT and he'll get it out with some looped pick or if its that deep in he'll use a vacuum.

My wax was hard as hell and was deep in my ear cause i frowned at using Qtips and the idea of shoving things in my ear. The wax was in my ear for 3 years so you can get the idea of how hard and compact it was. The looped pick hurt a bit but it wasn't excruciating pain. The vacuum was painless. Just the sound of it sucking the earwax.

My earwax was so hard that it clogged the vacuum every once in a while :D LOL

my doctor does it if i go there.. he just flushes it out witha giant syringe. the first time, i had to use drops for a week to loosen it, but afterwards, the syringe got it all out.
