Pacific Marine Circle Route Car Tour - Anybody done it? Tips?

Anybody do this driving route in the south of Vancouver Island?

Thinking of doing a long weekend trip with a few friends and drive the route, and was looking for feedback on places to visit and stop at, places to eat, attractions, and places to sleep.

I haven't been to the island in years and years, so basically I am completely unaware of the area of what's good and how long it will take, so any advice at all would be great.
