^I just ironed the patch on myself at home. Super easy to do, and even the patch edges stick down very well. Make sure you want to keep it on the jersey though, bc I don't think its going to come off any time soon with the heat press. If you get it stitched only and not pressed and stitched, you can remove it any time I suppose.

The Canucks store 2-4 week turnaround is because they farm the work out to a third party company, they don't do it themselves. So have to factor shipping back and forth, backlog, etc etc.

I asked one of those reps at the canucks store and he went on and on and on about how your normal iron won't work >_>

Me and my brother each used different irons, worked perfectly fine on 6 out of 8 setting. Put a cloth over the patch, iron over the cloth to transfer the heat through the patch and patch sticks to jersey. Simple as that.

I was at Jersey City in Richmond Center before the game, trying to find those V neck tshirts in SM for my gf, but damn, lots of cute ass (figuratively and literally cute ass's)chicks buying up some more tshirts. Oh yeah, I took a quick look at the premier jersey's and they all have the "reebok" on the back neckline. I believe those are the new versions?

It's ok, mine aren't worth bragging. Got that cheapo ironed on Orca one, Vintage one from err..6-ish years ago? Salmon fade Jovo one, and a 03 Team Canada one, which I've seem to have lost/can't find.

i ironed my patch on myself as well, but I think I used too low of a setting.. i was afraid that i would burn the jersey, so i put it on the synthetic lowest setting... and ironed over a pillow case... the majority of it is on good, but some of the edge didnt adhere as well.. I will redo it on a higher setting later

i also went to 2 tailors and neither did zig zag stitching..

I hear Scoff's Hockey is applying these patches as well... so this may be an option for those of you who don't want to make the trek out to Surrey. I'm not sure if they are stitching or ironing them on though.

Hope they do a good job with jerseys because when I brought in something as simple as mounting a visor (with spacers) to my helmet they managed to over-torque and crack it. My fault for not checking over their work before I left the shop.

It doesn't help that they were using an electric screwdriver the whole time. I always hand tighten first before grabbing a screwdriver and torquing it manually. If only I had my spacers I would've done it myself but I thought hey, if I'm already buying the spacers off them might as well just get them to mount it too...

Which blue line sports did you go to? How much are they? And what sizes?

Thanks

Ok the guy on the phone at blueline must have had a mind fart or something. I went to blueline in coquitlam centre and try had a bunch of blanks for 129.99 which is 10 cheaper than buying at the arena. The weird thing is that I bought a medium blank at blueline and a large at the arena store. Weird thing? They are the same dimensions except for the bottom where there may be a maximum shorten of 1 or 0.5 cm in length on the medium... Anyone know why?

Anyways. Blueline said they will be getting some kesler and burrows jerseys on Saturday so I'm hoping in getting a burrows instead of my blank. Price is, I think, 209 or 219.

Ask where their name and number jerseys are from. If it's direct from Reebok it's going to have the shitty heat pressed paper-thin numbers.

That's cheap, I've been quoted way more than that. Framing a jersey often times costs more than the actual jersey itself... unless it's a gamer of course. I'd never frame any of mine though since most companies use glue, pins, etc to keep it in place. Chances are you'll never be able to break it out of the case and wear it ever again.

Yea some of the jersey frames I've gotten were $400. LOL of all things, I just found my game worn & signed Shawn Antoski skate logo jersey from the 94 playoffs, but debating if I should frame it.

Why not just use a shadow box? Most of them have built in hangers and the glass opens like a door, so you can take jerseys out.
