Jerseys didn't sell that well back then, so thats why RMS accepted best offers.

Now that the Canucks have had recent success + the recent playoff run, RMS is just trying to make profit since jerseys sell like hotcakes now

They accepted my offer of $160 on the Linden Vintage Red Jersey. Saved $10!

Can anyone give me some input with a jersey I just got? Real or fake?

Looks good. Retail Edge 1.0 If anything the placement and size of the front "A" could use some work but this is common amongst size 46 authentics.

thanks for the input. there are some things that bother me about the jersey though. some of the detailing of the orca is weird compared to my home premier jersey. the detail of the fin is a bit straighter on the authentic, and the teeth are a bit more bold as well. Also, the orca seems to be noticeably flimsier on the authentic. How about the placement of the orca logo itself? Is it a common problem of a size 46 to have the orca so close to the stripes at the bottom of the jersey?

A size 46 Authentic will be smaller than a Small Premier. The seams and cut of the jerseys are also different as well so the positioning will not be the same.

I wouldn't say the Authentic's crest is more flimsy, but more the Premier's is too "cardboard-like." I can't comment on the other details of the Premier jersey as I do not own one to compare.

On my size 46 Edge 1.0, the bottom of the Orca is about 1 5/8" away from the seam where the stripes begin.

Your jersey is real though, but it looks like the positioning might be a bit off. Reebok isn't the most well-known for quality control.

ahh, fair enough. but this is really gonna bug me lol. i was doubting the shop i bought it from in the first place, but i kept on checking the jersey before i bought it after reading up on how to differentiate between real and fake jerseys. kinda missed a couple things, plus its hard to tell from these guides online with just pictures. one thing that is kinda throwing me off is that on the nhl website, they say that a jersey is 100% fake when the orca is "bubbly." the other authentic jersey at the shop had a bit of bubbling, but then again, i'm not really sure exactly what is meant by bubbling. i'm gonna keep the tags on until i have peace of mind about this whole thing haha.

The bubbling is not a 100% way of determining authenticity as the current Edge jerseys are very prone to bubbling. I have a lot of game worn jerseys and all of them have at least a little bit of bubbling. I also own a size 56 Edge 1.0 Home; it was washed and worn once and it has already developed bubbling on the white areas of the crest.

Quality issues with Reebok is one of the main reasons why I tend to collect pre-Edge jerseys.

oh okay. about the bubbling, the jersey was still sitting in the store, unwashed. the material underneath the orca couldn't have shrunken at all to cause the bubbling. have you seen bubbling on jerseys sitting in the store?

the bubbling is due to the glue that is used to press on the logo... probably due to the heat being on too long causing uneven heat distribution, or uneven dist of the actual glue, OR the logo cooling too quickly.. either way it's common

They're closed till Jan 3rd.

Trust me, you'll regret buying from the team store.

- Name, number, and captaincy letter starts bubbling/folds quickly at the Canucks store
- stitching quality is absolute shit at the Canucks store
- overpriced as fuck at the Canucks store

If I were you, I'd wait till Jan 3.

You've been warned

Can you iron the numbers on the jersey with a cloth on top to get rid of the bubbles?
