which will look lower from a 2'' drop? 17' or 16' rims?

I have 17' inch rims with a 2 inch drop, the is still a 1finger gap...but i was wondering if putting 16'rims would cause the gap to get smaller or bigger, since the wheel is smaller wouldn't the car drop a bit more???

any feedback would be great...

they will look the same. its the sidewall of your tire that will make the difference.

what are you looking to do? drop the car more or just get rid of the fender gap?

Rim size doesn't mean anything - it's overall wheel diameter that counts.

You want lower, get smaller tires or ditch the springs and get coilovers.

You want less wheel gap, get higher profile tires.

I went from 13" to 17" on my daily (EG sedan) and the gap (1.5") is exactly the same cause the overall wheel diameter is the same. Which reminds me, race springs aren't low enough.
