My battery seems to drop pretty fast, and I'm on an iP4. Turned off all my location services except for maps, so we'll see if that does anything.

Yea my battery dies quite quickly... usually down to 40% by the time I get off work.

Im at about 30%
Took it off the charger at 9 am.
did about 1hr of youtube, moderate about of text, but lots of whats app.
wifi is always on though not always connected.
and location services on

I broke my iPhone camera by dropping it
My warranty is expired. Anyone got any good excuses or a way to convince them to give you a replacement? I did it once before but this is the second iPhone I broke so I need to make a good excuse lol Posted via RS Mobile | |

Before I used a snap on case with no front protection and now I'm using the vapor chroma red. Gotta say for a case that costs $150 shipped it doesn't offer much protection. if you spend that much money, make sure you get a case that actually does what a case is suppose to do; protect your phone.

Phone just went from 100% to 92% in the 20 minutes I went to pick up my wallet from my friends, and was on Facebook. GFG!

For people using iPhone 4S with unreasonable battery drop.
Did you restore from your previous iPhone or started as new?
My 4S showed 15% decrease on standby over 6 hours when I restored my iPhone 4 backup to it. However, the battery life behaves much better when I did a full erase and started it as new (Standby 1 day, 2 hours with 5 hours of usage @ 40%).
Since I use iCloud for contacts and calenders, the only thing that I had to do for the "starting up as new" was to adjust my setting and add back my app.
Here are some of my stuff I turn on 24/7. Wifi, Bluetooth, 3G, Location Service and basically everything that people are saying its draining the battery.
I also did a battery calibration by draining the battery and recharging it to full. If nothing works, then wait for Apple to release a software update. Their engineers have been working with a few selected people that experience the battery life problem.

Been running iOS 5 on my 3GS for almost a week now on the semi-tethered jailbreak. Significantly faster than on iOS 4.x jailbroken, and the battery life is about the same.

Im having a problem with my apps. None of the apps i have installled seem to not wanna load anymore, FB, shazam

@vansterdam we had a discussion about those cases a year ago in the iPhone 4 thread.
The mophie juice ones arent bad. I'd say it charges at least 50% of your battery? Someone bought the eBay and deal extreme ones and had a bad experience lol the mophie and blackbox ones are pretty good but they leak battery even when you don't use them
I personally prefer the juice pack plus over the marketplace because I hate how chunky it feels. I stopped using the case after 2 weeks lol Posted via RS Mobile | |
