Has anybody ever been to Mexico during October?

Hello everyone,
Has any body ever gone to Mexico during their "hurricane season" August - November?
I am hoping to go this october but am afraid of a having a vacation ruined by weather conditions.
Please post your advice, recommendations and/or experiences here.

Thanks!

I went last year for my wifeys birthday , the last week of October.

Weather wasn't great but there was some hot yet cloudy days.

We went to cancun, book through expedia , for the first time.

Got bumped up to the 8th floor for free so that was a plus

Wonderful experience , went clubbing , drank everyday and yah it was great.

Taxi wasnt that bad 10-15 bucks can you practically anywhere.

I went to Cancun, 2nd week of September.

Stayed at the Royal in Cancun.. about 5 min taxi to clubs. Amazing hotel and service.. also they have a number of 5 star all inclusive restaurants on the property, none of which you need to make reservations for.

As for the weather, we had no complaints. Despite my pretty decent fake n bake tan I still got roasted by the natural sun. It never rained in the 7 days we were there. We also went to Xcarat which is at least an hr south of Cancun and the weather was beautiful there too.

I would recommend going during this time to save yourself some money. From my experience we never had any problems but I guess you never know in the future.

Went there during hurricane season.. never really rained whole day.. it's like an hour rain here and there.. and rest sunny.. well it was the case when i stayed..
I actually really didn't mind the rain.. sit by the resort lounge and watch rain pouring heavy wasn't bad at all especially since it didn't last... cooled me down a lot too

My sister and her family went a few years back. Had to evacuate 2 days early because of a hurricane. Had to take a flight to Atlanta spent a night there then fly to Vancouver.
