Android Apps!

I noticed that people were discussing android apps in random places, so why not have them in one central location.

Write the app name of your fav/most useful apps and a brief description of what it does :D

Go Launcher Ex - Very customizable launcher similar to LP but more smooth --> folders/transitions/themes/

Widget Locker - fully customizable lock screens, any app you want will appear on the lockscreen

Picsay Pro - Photoediting software

Titanium Backup -- Need I say more?
SMS Backup + -- Backs up all your messages to your gmail, very handy/useful for keeping a log.

RevScene.net -- for when you are bored at work, and need to go use the washroom with your phone

arcMedia player - i was looking for a rmvb player, this one seems pretty good so far.
Google Translate - i work at a hotel, get lots of foreign guest, works pretty good.

If you're too cheap to spend $1 to $5 on a fucking android app, I don't know what's wrong with you.

I've spent ~$10 and have completely revamped the look of my phone, very worth it.

SkinnyPupp 07-29-2011 08:13 AM

Especially when Google offers a 48 hour refund period, you don't even have the excuse of "well I was just testing it to see if I wanted to buy it".

Stealing $1 apps... that's just pathetic

joquio 07-29-2011 08:29 AM

What's the best App for creating and switching different profiles?
I'm using Quickprofiles now (just randomly chose one from the market with good ratings).
I remember when I was using the Nexus One I had an App that allows you to set times and location to change profiles.

Funny you mention this... I just read another thread where a member recommended the app Llama to do this. Just set it up, fantastic app!

joquio 07-29-2011 09:45 AM

Ahh...ok I'll check out Llama.

Have you used to refund window yet? I want to try a bunch of music players and am tempted to buy a bunch then refund the ones I don't like.

The refund window has been reduced to 15min for quite a while now.
Android Market update shrinks app refund window to 15 minutes | Android Central
