Please help, how to remove facebook and gmail account from my phone

Hi there

I am planning to sell my Motorola Milestone with Android 2.2.1 to someone from CL. May I know instead of using Factory data Reset, is there any other ways to remove my Facebook and gmail account from my phone before selling to someone.

Because I remember a while ago when I use factory reset to remove my personal
accounts, it really screw up my phone.

Please let me know ASAP.

I'm using froyo on my sgs captivate.
Settings, accounts and sync, then just remove your accounts.

Then go into gmail app and sign out, ditto in your web browser.
