Spalding Basketball?

Does anyone on RS know where you can buy a good Spalding basketball in Richmond?

If you know which ball the Richmond Oval uses and where to buy it, that would be just perfect.

Thanks!

so instead of asking someone that works there, you jump onto revscene and ask an online community instead?

check online for the model/style then phone around sportchek etc

tiger_handheld 07-27-2011 02:34 PM

he wants to use the same ball to get better and break ankles at ROval.

you guys are douches. check sport mart, sport chek, walmart, canadian tire, and if your ever in bellis fair theres a hugeeee sporting goods store there that should have it for sure.

I dont think the Oval uses the authentic NBA ball..most likely their generic indoor/outdoor ball that u can buy from any sporting goods store. in fact..i saw some yesterday at sportchek in richmond

I've already gone to Sportchek and they did not have the TF-1000's. :okay:

sportchek doesnt have any tfs
i remember you can pre-order one from champs .. not sure though

ShyGuy 07-28-2011 09:26 AM

amazon

I bought my TF-1000 from there. There are two types of TF-1000's. The original one and the ZK Pro Deep Channel one. I prefer the original.

TRDeol 07-28-2011 10:42 AM

Champs has them

alanp 07-30-2011 11:33 PM

just take one from a high school gym :fullofwin:

Sportchek no longer carries TF1000s, and in fact we limited out purchase from Spalding, so not many Spalding basketballs at any sportchek location.

Most leagues are switching to the Baden ball. It takes a while to get used to since it seems a bit lighter, but makes you a 10x better shooter and makes your shot more pure because it forces you to have rotation and arc on your shot.

jaebomb 08-01-2011 03:35 PM

Ill sell u my almost broken in tf1000!

Google Skyline sports. I've bought 2 TF1000s from them over the years. They mostly sell directly to schools but they'll sell to individuals as well.

Here's the link: http://www.teamskyline.com/index.cfm...lding/manid/77

did you try asking the staff at the oval.

Drow 08-28-2011 12:48 PM

The staff probably wudnt know and if they did they'd prob order it and not pick them up at your local sports shop.
