Brown rice

I need some recommendations for brown rice. I've been eating brown rice from Costco, some Austrailian variety, that doesn't taste very good. I'm looking for something that tastes like Uncle Ben's brown rice but without the ridiculous price.

The Costco brown rice costs like $7.99 for 11 lbs, compared to Uncle Bens, where it's like $9 for 1/4 of the size.

That's what I already do with the Costco rice. Thing is, it just doesn't taste as good as Uncle Bens.

If it doesn't taste good, and is really expensive, why would you want to eat it? You don't think brown rice is more "healthy" do you?

I think you read it wrong.

I said the Coscto rice is cheap, but doesn't taste good.
Uncle Ben's is expensive, but tastes better.

Don't waste your time with Rooster brand brown rice. Horrible.

If you're eating it b/c you're looking for a healthy alternative to white rice, have you considered eating quinoa?

ditto. i use to eat brown rice but the taste is pretty dry and flavorless. i've heard people getting good results cooking it with their zojirushi's set to brown rice however. despite this, quinoa is a much better alternative. tastes better (in my opinion) and gives u some adequate protein.

just eat the brown rice with actual food like vegetables and meat

rice isn't supposed to taste like anything. it's supposed to go with food!
