I know an EMT who used to work in the Chicago area who responded to a call like this one in Kelowna. The target lived, and while treating him in the back of the ambulance another man walked up behind it, pulled a gun, and unloaded. The man the EMT's were trying to save was killed, the EMT I know took shots in the back and was critical for a couple days, and the other was killed. Pretty brutal.

I definitely agree theres alot of clowns in town in the last few years..
That being said, I party every weekend, usually at the same places they do, and Ive never once run into a situation with any of them.
The only time they ever really stand out is when they are trying to load up one of their 40 foot Eliminator boats at the busiest boat launch in town and cant even get the thing to the ramp
How do you tell them apart from the AB oil guys aside from plates?

Most people would, up until the moment someone decides to make a statement in a nightclub with automatic weapons. Then the dynamics change a little bit.
News 1130 reports one of the girls in the SUV was shot in the neck and is now a quadriplegic.
While I feel sorry for someone who no longer can do simple tasks for the rest of their life let alone walk, she made the judgement call by associating herself with these kinds of people.
This is no different than getting into a car with someone you know has been drinking and ending up in a car accident leaving you quadriplegic.

Sure you do. In this case, she is going out with a known gangster who's had attempts at his life.
It would be the equivillent of going drinking every night and having a drunk driver drive you home. Eventually, the odds of an accident will catch up to you.
If she just met these guys and was shot and become a quad, then yeah she didn't deserve it.

she may have been asking for it, but she didnt deserve it, if that makes sense.
and we'll never know exactly how close to danger she knew she was in to begin with
I'm still shocked of the Kevin Leclair death. I played hockey with him for 6yrs and was pretty close with him back in the day. He went from selling roids to being the Bacon brothers right hand man before he was gunned down. The fucked up thing is his dad is actually a ex cop as well.
