Kelvin,

You might as well at least try to plead your case to city hall. You might not be the only one.
When I lived in delta, I lived down a street that didn't have sidewalks. Where the road and grass/gravel met, a pot hole appeared after one winter. When I was driving by, a kid ran out of his drive way onto the street so I swerved to the right. My whole wheel went into the hole and I cracked part of the bumper. I went to city hall and when they saw my car, they said since it's lowered more than an average car I'm not covered and they won't pay for the damages. A week after that, they paved the hole.

@hchang... Good one!! *thumbsup*

Thanks for all the kind words and support, appreciating every bit of advice given. I figure I will let city hall know of this idiotic design, but I will not pursue compensation from the city. I fully understand had I looked more closely at the intersection(instead of the motorbike coming by) and if I didnt have such a bitch of a car the damage probably wouldn't of been as severe.

But like I said, I will let city hall know of this situation, hoping to prevent anyone else from repeating the same mishap as me.

I got a BBK in the front so no spare or steelie, I think it might be crazy dangerous and low too if I used anything but a 17.

The spare on a 6 speed tl is a 17 to clear the brembos. I think it is the same bolt pattern too. 5x 114.3, maybe a different offset though.

Could you have moved a wheel from the back and put your spare on the rear?

Shit. I was there today too and was gonna pull over infront of the place. Curb scared the shit out of me, but I luckily dodged it.

Best of luck repairing your car. Remember seeing this at the spring meet and i was over how sick it looked

Thanks for the spare ideas. I'll look into that but I have a plan for now. Hopefully by tomorrow I will be notified if the wheel is repairable or not. It looks so unhealthy for the car to sit gangster sideways lol

Haha I asked someone if they knew who you were today but they didn't know. I saw your name on the am kitchen duties or something. I'll be there tomorrow for like a half day before going back to 007. That was a quick repair though...

So apparently it was sent to Panthers instead, they've been working on it for a few hours and it doesnt look good, they decided to give it a deadline till tomorrow noon and I'll know my damage, if it ain't repairable then... time for another set, my 6th...
