i've been getting swollen bug bites of enormous size the last few years -- i always thought i had just developed an allergic reaction to them (perhaps what the internet calls "Skeeter syndrome"). In any case, anti-histamines were the most effective thing to make it less itchy.

if your going out with some friends, mix up some sugar and water in a spray bottle and spray it on them telling them it'll work all mosquitoes will go to them instead of you. voila, your mosquitoe bit free ...

mosquito's are nothing, anyone going out into the bush/camping should always be on the lookout for tick bites

you'll know if you get bit by a tick, the bite looks like a bulls eye, red dot than a larger red ring around the dot, typically that symbolizes a tick with lyme disease

lyme disease can be serious shit so if you ever see a bite like that you need to go to a doctor ASAP and most ppl go on antibiotics for like 5 months

Skeeter bites rarely bother me. I know I'm one of the lucky few. I will try the hot spoon method tho when one does.
