Marketing concept: Odd numbers give you a middle/central point as opposed to even number of choices

This doesn't make any of their food better, but it's quite a good marketing scheme IMO.

As a consumer, seems like they're trying to get rid of their unhealthy uncaring c corporate image

Didn't want to start a new thread....

General Altimax HP
or
Yokohama Avid Touring S
or
Yokohama AVID ENVigor

They are both around the same price from the States. The General Tire is slightly better than the Yokohama in terms of TireRack's survey. Anyone have any experience with either model?

If you ever go to T&T and buy those frozen "hand made" wontons or dumplings (they have an employee there making dumplings at the display) be sure to check the expiry date...

I bought some chicken wontons and soon after eating one of the boxes i got the runs!

took a closer look at the wonton box (was looking for ingredients) and i see the expiry date which was Oct 27! blegh
my fault for not checking first, but still

That's nothing........ the Superstore close to Ikea in Coquitlam has expired stuff on shelves more often than not. I always have to tell them to get that shit off the shelves. Last time, Danactive yogurt drink was close to two fricken months old. I'm like I see people in a hurry just pick items off the shelf without checking the expiration date. I, on the other hand, go out of my way to get the freshest date possible on everything. I also check to see that all freshness seals are intact.

Also, never get stuff in the front of the display. Stuff gets put back on the shelf after it's been left out of the dairy case all the time.

Short of tasting the item, look at and smell your products before laying down your hard earned money.
