dianne watts wants tolls on all bridges in the gvrd

so as to lower rates on the bridges into surrey/langley

Watts wants bridge tolls to be spread around Lower Mainland - News1130

Quote:
Watts wants bridge tolls to be spread around Lower Mainland
Says plans for more than $3-toll on three new bridges unfair

SURREY (NEWS1130) - The mayor of Surrey says plans for tolls on the new Golden Ears, Port Mann, and Patullo Bridges are unfair to people who live south of the Fraser River.

Dianne Watts says it's not right to charge more than $3 per crossing on the the Golden Ears and two other new bridges expected to be done in the next few years, and wants to see commuters across Metro Vancouver paying smaller tolls instead.

"That is really restrictive, and I think that if it is going to be fair and equitable, then we need to make it either 75 cents or $1 and spread it around [to all bridges]," Watts says. "Let's be smart about it. Let's make sure that it's fair and equitable across the region, that the people south of the Fraser are not being penalized."

She says TransLink and the province need to work together on tolling policies for crossings around the region, and is also renewing calls for light rail rapid transit in Surrey as a cheaper alternative to a new SkyTrain.

"We're continuing to have those conversations with the Minister of Transportation, and hopefully we can come to a point where we can have something that's fair and equitable," she says.

Last week Transportation Minister Blair Lekstrom said tolling all Metro Vancouver bridges and tunnels is unlikely to happen while he's in office.

Was also on "The View." Not that I watch that show........ if I did, I'd have to hand in the man card and get my dick placed in a meat grinder. Just walked by the TV when wifey was watching it. All four women were getting all riled up and screaming......... worse than watching witches cackling around a cauldron on All Hallow's Eve.

244 years of printing encyclopedias, Britannica is now electronic only.......

On a lesser note, Buy and Sell is no longer going print. Electronic only. Sign o' the Times.

a US Soldier was arrested in WA for hiring some guy to kill his wife (they're divorcing) and his superior officer as well he was plotting to blow up the state capitol

he also has naked pictures of his daughter on his computer that he took while she was sleeping

on top of all that when he was a child his mom shot him 8 times and left him for dead (as well as killing his siblings)

Case in point, this skinny guy comes into the gym the other day, must have only weighed ~ 140lbs, loads on 2 plates on the bench rack, mutters to himself, for sparta, unracks the barbell and proceeds to drop it directly on his chest.

anyway i was like wtf

Quote:
In September of 2011, the MLA for Port Moody-Coquitlam quit to take a job at the Vancouver Board of Trade. Ever since then, the 45,995 residents of Port Moody-Coquitlam have been without a representative in the BC Legislature.

In January, the MLA for Chilliwack-Hope also resigned, leaving 43,720 constituents without a voice.

Today, 90,000 British Columbians have no elected representative because Premier Christy Clark refuses to call these by-elections.
fuckin Clark

I was watching the local news last night and she hired a bunch of Conservatives to bolster her appearance as leaning right.... and she's been photo-oping with Harper and going to Preston Mannings house to try and get the conservative vote... wtf

Portions are HELLA SMALL. Prices are not worth the portion size. Drinks are standard price.

Would avoid at all costs. Ordered a "steak" last time i went.. think it was $15 or something. Portion was a little bit bigger than my credit card.

Don't know if things have changed though.

Posted in the meet forum but there's more traffic here: "Hey all, I don't post too often, but I planned on heading out to TBC tonight with a friend for the Endurance race. Unfortunately, they need a minimum of 4 racers to call in advance to run it and so far they only got us 2. It would be kinda lame if it didn't happen so if there's anyone on here who would be able to make it, that would be sick! I haven't done the endurance race before but I'd assume there would be a lot of track space for those who want to set a really good laptime. Cheers!"

I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask this question but I've been to numerous amount of stores and no one seems to be able to help out.

I'm looking for a 4x2 bag. Something similar to a hockey bag but does not really need extra pocket. I need it to carry around some of my camera gear so it has to be made out of some decent material to support the weight.

4 feet long by 2 feet wide by 2 feet tall. Height could be a bit smaller though.

Please and thank you very much!

Nah, thats too fancy for me. I just need a duffel style bag thats more durable.
I'm only keeping my slider cam track and a bunch of heavy pipes in there. So any hockey style bag would do.

I found a bag that I'm looking for at Lowes for 9 bucks! but its slightly too small. Can't fit my items on an angle either.
