what i dont get is why dont they launch a lot of cheap drones along with this rover? even if half of them or more fail at least you'll have more than 1 really expensive equipment that can fail and ruin the whole trip

latch a couple of flying drones to the back of the rover that can detach and fly around etc

question

Will a bank refund a transaction fee if ur card got declined for no reason?

I was at the aquarium and my debit card wouldn't work got declined at the food stand and at the atm. after about an hourish i went back to the atm and it worked but it charged me a service fee of 2 dollars and i used it twice to get enough money out first time i just got 20 out to see if it worked

The real question; Why do you have a transaction fee? I don't think I've paid for a debit transaction since like 2006.

Also, the $2 fee goes to the machine not the bank. You will never see it again... if you want your $2 back I'm sure you can find some coins in a fountain somewhere.

Kid wears out his power wheels. Dad rebuilds it better than new. 24 volts, a 500 watt .66 horsepower electric motor, disk brake, throttle modulated variable speed control with reverse and sparco battery cut off switch.

Parenting, hes doing it right.

Try switching your card? I've gone through 4/5 debit cards in last 6 months because my card kept being declined despite having sufficient funds.

Ferrari 458 Spider Runs Over Cop - YouTube
Quote:
Stephanie Pratt stars in an MTV reality show, but her boyfriend stole the show Saturday night, driving over the foot of a cop who tried to ticket his illegally-parked, six-figure Ferrari.

Pratt’s prosperous paramour, Julien Chabbott, 28, of Chelsea, was outraged when he spotted cops about to ticket his $257,000 Ferrari 458 Spider, in a no-standing zone in front of SoHo’s posh Mercer Hotel about 6:15 p.m.

Car enthusiast Damian Morys, 17, of Fresh Meadows, Queens, was admiring the Spider when he saw the confrontation and started filming.

In Morys’ version of “Men Behaving Badly,” Chabbott is seen sliding behind the wheel and attempting to drive away.

“I couldn’t believe it,” Morys said. “He can afford a $300,000 Ferrari; he should have just taken the ticket.”

The cop tried to block the fleeing Ferrari, but Chabbott apparently rolled over the officer’s foot.

The irate gumshoe slammed his hand on the window, shouting, “You run down my f------ foot!”

The cop then yanked Chabbott from the car and slammed him on to the trunk. Chabbott fell to the ground as the cop’s partner held one of his legs in the air and the injured cop slapped cuffs on him.

Police say that before the amateur began filming, Chabbott grabbed the ticket book from the cop and ignored orders to stay on the sidewalk.

Pratt, who stars on MTV’s “The Hills,” is seen on the video watching, then riding away in the car, driven by a friend.

Chabbott was illegally parked and the Spider had no registration or inspection stickers displayed. The car also lacked a front license plate. He was charged with assault, vehicular assault, obstructing governmental administration and disorderly conduct.

The cop was treated for an injured left foot and right hand and released from Bellevue Hospital.

Porsches impounded after drivers caught speeding in West Vancouver
THE CANADIAN PRESS August 7, 2012 5:01 PM

WEST VANCOUVER, B.C. — A pack of Porsches was caught speeding on a highway north of Vancouver over the weekend and the drivers didn’t get only tickets, they’ve lost their luxury wheels for a week.

West Vancouver Police say four Porsches were pulled over on the Sea to Sky Highway on Saturday by a single officer.

The officer had tracked the vehicles travelling up to 131 kilometres an hour in an 80-kilometre zone.

The Porsches have been impounded for a week and each driver was handed a ticket for $368.

Police say just a week earlier, the same officer issued warnings to members of a Porsche Club telling them the danger of speeding in the area.

So driving home from camping in the Campbell River area backcountry, I'm on the logging roads following my buddy. I thought I heard a strange POP, but the windows are up to keep the dust out, and the music is going I don't give it a second thought.

We get to paved road, and I start hearing a CLANG CLANG CLANG CLANG CLANG coming from my truck. I'm thinking "What the fuck?!" and pull over.

I see that one of my rear tires is flat, with what looks like a bit of metal sticking out of it. Once I put the spare on, I take a set of pliers and yank this motherfucker out of the blown tire:

I always carry tire plugs and a portable compressor when I go backroading, but they wouldn't have really cut it in this case.

The shiny line is the part that was touching the tread blocks. The blunt end is what was buried 90degrees into my tire, smashing into inside of my rim everytime the truck rolled around, explaining the noise.
Sucks I just bought these tires in October, good thing Costco has a good road hazard warranty
