Company is getting a cake and some food, but I want to do something a little more personal to show my gratitude.

Price range is around $50.
I would get a nice card, write a heart felt message about how much his mentorship meant to you over the years and that he'll be missed when he retires.

Include a $50 GC to the Keg or something and write, "I know it's not much, but hopefully it will help when you take your wife for dinner during your newly found spare time."

Something along those lines.. from the heart man!

For anyone in the coquitlam area, there's a good groupon:

https://www.groupon.com/deals/coquitlam-washworld

10 washes for $60 - 24/7, and the wash is rather decent.

Pics with Santa require you to purchase a package for $22 min. WTF?!?! And if you want a digital copy, it's an extra $16 on top. For 1 picture.

Went to the one at Coquitlam Center, thinking they did it by donation or at most $10. The girl said they give $1 to charity and when we asked which one, she didn't even know.

coquitlam so bougie

metrotown is a donation of either $1 or $2 with santa and they email you a picture.
go during off ours when everyone is at work. evenings you're waiting like an hour.
make sure you get the classic photo where the kid is balling their eyes out sitting on santa. they'll thank you when it gets added in to their wedding slideshow

VANCOUVER – Hyundai announced on Wednesday they will be the first car company in Canada to make hydrogen fuel cell electric vehicles. The Hyundai Tucson Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle (FCEV) will be available to Canadians on a 3-year lease beginning in early 2015 in the Vancouver area.

“We firmly believe that Hyundai has already surpassed the tipping point in fuel cell technology development and that it’s ready to be driven by customers interested in pioneering a zero-emissions automotive future,” said Don Romano, president and CEO of Hyundai Auto Canada Corp, in a press release. “The challenge facing this technology has always been characterized by a chicken-and-egg scenario, where car companies won’t bring fuel cell vehicles to market without an infrastructure and there is no need for a refueling industry without customers. It’s time to move beyond simply talking about the opportunity. Hyundai was the first to mass-produce fuel cell electric vehicles and will be the first to bring them to Canadian customers. We’re planting the seed for a new segment of the industry.”

The Tuscon FCEV stores hydrogen gas and draws an inflow of air to the fuel cell stack. The electrochemical process of combining the oxygen and hydrogen creates electricity to power the vehicle and charge an onboard battery. Hyundai said the only by-product of the process is pure water vapour.

The fuel cell will have to be charged by Hyundai, but it takes less than five minutes to refuel and has an estimated range of 426 kilometres. Hyundai said the Tuscon FCEV has also passed numerous cold weather, crash, fire and leak tests.

A group of people will have the opportunity to lease the vehicle at $599 a month over a three-year term. The lease includes maintenance and unlimited hydrogen refueling. Applications can be made through Hyundai’s website.

“We are proud to be leading the fuel cell movement and now is the time for auto companies, governments, and citizens to join us in this initiative and push for the creation of a hydrogen infrastructure in Canada to maintain this positive momentum,” added Romano.

The Hyundai Tucson FCEV is currently available to customers in many countries including the U.S., the U.K., Germany, France, Belgium, Italy, Austria, Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, and South Korea.

Doubt he had a choice. For years now it's been shown that negative attitudes to "illegal" immigrants are really bad for businesses such as agriculture, manufacturing, service industries because they rely on cheap labour to make money. Wouldn't be surprised if businesses were lobbying for this type of legislation to take place

Has anyone seen this before?

I sent something to a friend in Ontario -- they live in an apartment building.
I put the correct address + Apartment # on there, but it keeps saying "Out for Delivery --> Sent to recipient's new address"

It was supposed to be delivered tuesday -- Anyone know what's going on with this fuckery?

Are there any add-ons or extensions for Firefox and Chrome that will auto-refresh and reload the website and notify me when a change has occurred?

I'm looking for one that will let me select a certain part of the website and notify me of any changes to the selected part.

Been using C4C on Firefox but it's pretty buggy and gives me false notifications. Auto Refresh Plus on Chrome selects the entire webpage and doesn't give an option to select certain parts.
